

Cosy Tortoises sell a wide range of "Ready to Go" setups. These tables is ideal for housing tortoises in the home. These tables has been designed by experienced tortoise keepers to give tortoises the best care possible. The tables allows close monitoring of the tortoises and ease of access to their water bowl, feeding area, heatlamp and housing. The housing area can be easily cleaned by access through the removable lid.
The sides of the tortoise table have been constructed using good quality thick pine and the base with WBP plywood for strength. The table was constructed with good quality woodscrews. No glue was used in the construction of these tortoise tables.
The top is open to allow maximum air ventilation. Open top ventilation is essential to prevent the build up of stale air and damp conditions.
With this set-up is a heatlamp, heatbulb, thermostat, UV unit and UV tube for tortoises (essential for health and growth), water bowl, cuttlefish bone and seeds (1 x 25g grazing) for growing tortoise food. Bedding is not included in price. Recommended substrate for tortoises is play sand and sterilised loam based soil (no peat) that can be purchased from any good garden centre.
Cosy Tortoises recommend all heat lamps are controlled by a dimmer thermostat which is included in the costs of these set-ups.
